This update affects your Nordstrom ASNs.

  • Nordstrom is launching a new Transportation Management System (TMS) to replace the manual PDF/email routing process.
  • Vendors will use the TMS Vendor Portal to request routing, with instructions generated automatically based on product details.
  • Send the TMS Shipment ID (from Nordstrom's TMS system) on the ASN from Spring PortalApp

We are always ready and updated to work with the changes from our retailer. Having said this, we have made changes to requirements for ASN (856) for Nordstrom.

The most important point to note for vendors over here is the new TMS ID in Spring Systems Portal.

You can do this by now putting in the TMS ID which you get from Nordstrom's TMS portal for your shipment on the Shipment Editor Level on Spring PortalApp. See quick guide below.

Steps (as shown above):

  • Navigate to Transaction --> Shipments.
  • From there select the shipment where you want to add the TMS Shipment ID.
  • Under Edit Shipment Header pencil on the brown bar, look for the field Retailer Scheduled Shipment ID.
  • Save the shipment editor to save this information.

NOTES

  • If you have an integration for Nordstrom with us (or your ERP and Spring PortalApp), please reach out to our Integrations team at integration@springsystems.com today to get these changes made and tested so that you are ready for this change.
  • Please note that this field is NOT MANDATORY as of now as not every vendor has onboarded with Nordstrom's new TMS Portal BUT will soon be.
  • If you are onboarded, and you create shipments there, please use the TMS ID from the portal.
  • Keep an eye out on the deadlines and dates for adjustment.
  • You can ask your Nordstrom buyer to provide the complete newsletter incase you have any doubts.
