If you expect to have more than one physical shipments, from the same order, going to the same ship to location (i.e. your order is shipping in two discrete chunks, on different dates), you will need to create separate sets of shipments, each corresponding to the contents of each real life shipment. These must match exactly - please remember that new shipments will reflect the items and quantities on the purchase order, so split shipments will require modification of both sets of shipments (since they will both reflect the purchase order by default).

When you select order line(s) on the orders table and click "create shipment", the system automatically groups your selections into shipments based on the ship to location (lines with the same ship to location will be grouped together in a shipment).
